Non-Members welcome at all WGC events (unless noted). Presentations are normally held the 2nd Thursdays at Union Congregational Church, 161 Buckingham Street, Oakville, CT at 1:30 p.m.

2019 WGC Upcoming Programs & Activities*

September 12, 2019 - 1:30 p.m.: "Cute, Clever, Classic: a floral design for every lifestyle," presented by Cathy Ritch.

Cathy resides in Trumbull, CT and is a member of the Long Hill Garden Club. She became a National Garden Club accredited judge in 2013. She hosts and teaches floral design through the Federated Garden Clubs of CT Beyond Beginnings Design workshops.

October 10, 2019 - Noon: Business Meeting with Pizza Luncheon.

November 4, 2019, 5 - 8 p.m.: Annual Fundraiser - "All You Can Eat" Cheese Pizza, Salad and Soda at Almalfi Ristorante, 580 Wolcott St, Waterbury.

Tickets may be purchased at Watertown Garden Club Meetings on Thursdays September 12th and October 10th, by contacting a garden club member directly or at the door on October 10th. Ticket cost = $10. Almalfi will be open that evening only for ticket holders.

November 14, 2019 - 1:30 p.m.: "Hop Brook Dam History, Flora and Fauna," presented by Robert Skaret, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

Late November: Civic Development Wreath and Cemetery Box Making.

December 12, 2019 - Noon (Members Only): Holiday Luncheon.
